The Lord has been faithful to Southfield from the beginning

Southfield Christian Fellowship (SCF) was started in 1994 by a group of people from Fielder Church in Arlington (then called Fielder Road Baptist Church). Supported at first by Fielder Church, SCF was quickly able to become self-sufficient and has remained so ever since. From the beginning, SCF has sought to have a simple structure so that the majority of resources can go toward people and missions.

In 1999 the decision was made to go from a single senior pastor to a group of three co-pastors, or elders. This gave SCF even more flexibility with ministry dollars.

Over the years SCF has served as a home for a wide variety of individuals, many of whom have gone overseas or are serving the Lord where he has called them.  

Today SCF thrives as a vibrant community of Christ-centered believers who are dedicated to building each other up and serving as faithful ambassadors in our community and around the world.

We are not a perfect church but we serve a perfect Savior.
