What stood out to you from the passage?
Kit described an advocate as someone who truly knows you — not a casual acquaintance. What does it mean to you personally that Jesus knows everything about you and still chose to advocate for you?
Kit said the Christian life is not only about “where are you going when you die” — it’s about right now. How does that shift your thinking about what following Jesus looks like day to day?
Obedience is evidence of faith, not the means of earning it. Is there an area of your life where you are going through the motions without the heart behind it? What would genuine obedience look like there?
Kit said people around you should be able to see the “family resemblance” to Jesus. Who in your life models that most clearly? What does it look like in practice?
